Alexander Sharpe Bridal is an award-winning, design-led alterations studio built around a small and dedicated specialist team.

Led by Charlotte, every fitting, alteration plan and design decision is approached individually. The team works closely together, discussing each dress and sharing their technical knowledge throughout the process. This means your dress is truly known by the people caring for it, with consistency and attention at every stage.

Remaining deliberately small is central to the ASB experience. We accept a limited number of brides, allowing us to give every dress the time, skill and personal care it deserves.

Since opening in 2009, ASB has developed longstanding relationships with bridal boutiques throughout Kent and across the South East. We are trusted and widely recommended by the bridal industry, with many of our brides coming directly through boutique referrals.

Our reputation has also been recognised at The Wedding Industry Awards, where ASB was named South East Regional Winner in 2025 and Highly Recommended for Seamstress of the Year in 2026.

Charlotte Alexander-Sharpe

Fashion Designer & Bridal Alterations Specialist

Creativity has shaped my entire life. Growing up in a family of artists and makers naturally led me into fashion design and a career built around silhouette, construction and beautiful craftsmanship.

I studied Fashion Design before completing a Master’s in Fashion Atelier, specialising in advanced garment construction, alongside further training in pattern cutting and high fashion at Central Saint Martins. My graduate collection was also nominated for the River Island Gold Award for Womenswear.

My career began in London through fashion design and included travelling to India with buyers to oversee collections and implement design changes. I later moved into bespoke bridal design and taught advanced construction techniques and dressmaking through Adult Education.

Since founding Alexander Sharpe Bridal in 2009, I have built a trusted reputation among brides and bridal boutiques across Kent for design-led alterations, exceptional fit and meticulous craftsmanship. Many of Kent’s leading bridal boutiques proudly recommend ASB to their brides.

This reputation was recognised when ASB was named South East Regional Winner at The Wedding Industry Awards in 2025, followed by a Highly Recommended award for Seamstress of the Year in 2026.

Senior Bridal Alterations Specialist

Roxanne’s love of sewing began at an early age, learning from her grandmother before progressing from small handmade pieces to clothing and bridalwear. She later completed an apprenticeship at Debenhams, where she developed her professional sewing and garment alteration skills.

Roxy has been an integral part of ASB for the past five years, working closely alongside Charlotte and bringing exceptional care, patience and technical skill to every dress. Following Charlotte’s fittings and design direction, she carries out specialist sewing and intricate alterations behind the scenes.

A hugely valued part of our small team, Roxy shares our belief that every detail matters and every dress should feel as though it was designed for that bride from the very beginning.

Bridal Fitting & Styling Assistant

As the newest member of the ASB team, Abi brings a warm, considered and client-focused approach to our bridal refittings.

With a background in Fashion Design and Textiles, creative and marketing roles, and personal styling, Abi has a natural eye for detail and understands the importance of helping every bride feel completely herself in her dress.

You may also recognise Abi from Bridal Boutique at Chilham, where she helps brides find their dream dress.

Working alongside Charlotte during refittings, Abi helps create a relaxed, supportive experience while ensuring every finishing detail feels just right.

Abi also offers dedicated bridal styling appointments, helping you complete your look with our curated selection of veils, jewellery and bespoke ASB creations. Simply ask during your fitting and we can arrange a styling appointment with Abi.
